Tobit to be staged by Our Lady of Peace School

The Musical of Tobit will get a "new look". It will be staged for the first time as a middle school production. I am quite excited to see how it translates to the middle school stage. Our Lady of Peace school in Kansas City, MO will be presenting "Tobit" on May 1st and 2nd at O'Hara High School. Both performances are at 7pm.

Full Piano Score on the Way!

Very exciting news in the world of Tobit...
A full piano score of the entire production is almost complete. This will really make it easier for other organizations to stage the musical. More news to follow soon.

Production in Keane, NH was excellent!

Kudos to the cast and crew for the latest production of "The Musical of Tobit". I was very pleased with the production. Although, I'm sorry that I wasn't there for Saturday and Sunday... I hear that the crowds were quite lively! That's great to hear. I hope that everyone had a great time with the show and that the Scriptures have been opened up to you in a new way. Thanks to all! Thanks also for the signed poster. It is proudly hanging up in my rectory.

Tobit to be staged in New Hampshire

The Musical of Tobit will be staged at St. Joseph Regional School in Keene, New Hampshire. It will be staged by the "Diocesan World Youth Day Pilgrims" on February 1, 2, and 3. I'm planning to attend the Friday night performance. My good friend from seminary, Fr. Von DeRosia got this set up. I'm really excited to see another interpretation of the show.

Hayden Production Excellent

I have been meaning to do a new post about the Hayden production. It was excellent. In many ways it was how I had conceived it in my head, and at the same time there were plenty of great additions. Bravo to a production well done!
